KYOGO FURUHASHI has addressed the disappointing 0-0 draw at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon – the Celtic striker insisting we need to be positive going forward.
The Hoops blew the chance to hit the top of the SPFL table and apply real pressure to their Glasgow rivals.
Livingston played a low block game against Ange Postecoglou’s men and had no intention of making a game of it. Livi were there for a draw and they got it.
Well organised and frustrating, we had the ball cleared off the line, multiple chances to get shots away and a penalty kick at the death, none of this was enough.
Kyogo started the day on the bench, Giakoumakis given the responsibility of being the lone striker.
It didn’t work out and Kyogo entered the fray in the second half, he won a penalty for Celtic but Giakoumakis missed from the spot.
The game ended in a draw, leaving the bhoys to go back to the drawing board.
Kyogo has asked the Celtic fans to be positive and they will now focus on the game ahead in the Europa League. This season will be full of ups and downs, it’s the nature of a rebuild.
We fought until the end. Now let’s be positive and focus on the next match! ?
