FRASER FORSTER has today returned to Southampton to thrash out his future with his Celtic loan deal coming to an end. His loan deal officially ends at midnight on Tuesday but now the player has headed back to his parent club to sort out his future.
SunSport revealed the club are open to signing Fraser on a permanent deal this summer and Southampton are looking to get money off the wage bill.
Celtic now only have one senior keeper on their books as it stands at the moment with Craig Gordon heading back to Hearts this week.
Forster was in top form for the club this season and made some outrageous saves both in domestic competitions and Europe.
Celtic are heading into a potential history making season, if we can land Fraser Forster, it would be a huge statement of intent.
With his lucrative deal at Southampton still having two years to run, nothing is certain but fingers crossed.
