CHRIS SUTTON has told BT Sport viewers Neil Lennon must be laughing his head off after the results came in on Wednesday evening. Celtic ended up drawing with Livingston but it was very much a point gained in the end because the ‘unthinkable’ happened down the road.

Celtic went 1-0 up on the night but Livingston would get the next two goals, digging in on the night to try and deny Celtic any of the points. In the end, the pressure told and a bit of magic from Edouard gained Celtic a massive point.

Down the road in Glasgow, the Ibrox club were getting beat off of Hamilton with the game finishing 1-0 to the away side. Adding to another horrible result for Steven Gerrard since the turn of the year.

Sutton put the night into perspective.

“A point is a good point in terms of them losing at the end but put everything into context Neil Lennon’s Celtic have gone 13 points clear of Rangers.” Sutton told BT Sport as cited by RecordSport.

“I thought that was unthinkable. He (Lennon) must be laughing his head off.”

Celtic can go 16 points clear at the top of the table with a win against St Mirren on Saturday. The Rangers play on Sunday so Celtic can pile on more misery before they kick a ball again.
