LAZIO have appealed to UEFA to try and get their north curve re-opened for the Celtic game in three weeks time after they were ordered to close it last week.

The club was charged with Racist behaviour after some fans could be heard taunting Rennes players during matchday two of the Europa League.

Lazio have at least appeared outwardly to be taking a hard line stance against any supporters who are caught abusing players of colour. According to Sunsport they have already identified culprits and are in the process of dealing with them.

With that in mind they are heading back to the Euopean governing body to try and overturn the decision which will see their north curve remain empty.

Celtic are heading with a bumper crowd to Rome with Lazio handing out a lot of briefs to Celtic for the away day. It could be a fantastic night for the bhoys if they manage to get a win in Italy.

Regardless of that we first have the home tie and we must look to get all three points on the night.
