Leicester City has reportedly entered the race for Hibs left-back and previous Celtic target Josh Doig.
As reported by Sun Sport the English Premier League side have supposedly joined this teams interested in making a move for the Hibs youngster in the summer after an impressive campaign.
The 18-year old broke into Jack Ross’ side last summer and has held down a regular spot ever since which ultimately caught the eye of several sides including Celtic.
Left-back has been a bit of a problem area for Celtic this season with both Diego Laxalt and Greg Taylor having spells in the team.
It is likely that the club will be looking to acquire a new left-sided defender come the summer.
Whether that is Doig or a more experienced option remains to be seen. If it is the Hibs player though, they will likely face competition for his signature with a couple of English Premier League sides looking in.
