ANGE POSTECOGLOU got some minutes into the legs of some of his players this week when Celtic arranged a bounce game behind closed doors against Motherwell.
While we don’t have the full team sheet from the day – CeltsAreHere understands Christopher Jullien, Albian Ajeti, Mikey Johnston and Boli Bolingoli were all in the side as the Hoops ran out 5-2 winners against the Steelmen.
Boli Bolingoli was sent out on loan to Russia just last month but after the conflict in Ukraine, the player has returned to Celtic Park and is training with the bhoys again.
We’re told Christopher Jullien got among the goals as did Albian Ajeti and Mikey Johnston.
Chris has not started a game since returning from injury and only has a short cameo against Raith Rovers to this point. Albian Ajeti was injured against Real Betis back in December and has been out of the picture. Given there are so many strikers in front of him now, Albian isn’t likely to get much game time.
Ange spoke about getting his fringe players up to a place where they can contribute in the final run of games if they’re needed. A bounce game would have certainly helped.
