Legia Warsaw have been declared 3-0 winners over Kukesi after last week’s Europa League qualifier in Albania was abandoned early in the second half following crowd trouble.
The club that made a massive administration blunder in last years Champions League qualifiers to Celtic’s benefit have been given a 3-0 pass for the first leg after the incident last week.
There is no place for that type of behaviour at any football ground and Kukesi only have themselves to blame for the outcome.
However….
We are sure that the team who campaigned and attacked Celtic last year for going along with UEFA rulings will be mortified to take this 3-0 result as football certainly can’t be the winner according to their own rhetoric.
They will now play the second leg in Warsaw on Thursday with a view to progressing but how will they ever sleep at night knowing they haven’t done the right thing….
