RYAN CHRISTIE cut a dejected figure in his post-match press conference, which was curtailed after three questions due to security pulling the player so he and his team mates could get out of the ground as angry supporters stood outside.
The scenes outside the ground of Celtic fans protesting is something you just don’t want to see. The frustrations boiled over, turning up in their numbers as a presence would have sent a strong message, hitting down rails and shouting scum doesn’t do much for anyone.
Ryan spoke about the team hurting badly after another defeat. The midfielder making it clear every single player is trying their hardest and they’re not, as some supporters suggest, disinterested.
Christie and his teammates have gone through a shocking run of form and admits it’s as much a shock to the system to them as it is to the support after years of dominance.

It’s not about going out of cups, we knew this day would come. It’s about the team having no identity and slipping into mediocrity which is the driving force.
If that’s a performance showing they care we may as well forget 10 IAR and get ready for a relegation fight.
