In this day and age when people have so much access to celebrities, it is hard to imagine many getting folk getting star-struck anymore. Take a Champions League winner who is a main star for Liverpool naming a Celtic star who would cause him to freeze up tells you everything you already know about the King of Kings.

Andy Robertson is a self-confessed Celtic fan and when asked on Match of The Day about his Celtic idols the Scotland captain had this to say:

“I supported Celtic, and I’ve never met Henrik Larsson. So if I met him I think I’d need to say ‘look, come on and let’s get a picture. I’d photoshop his dreadlocks back on.”

Larsson did have something extra special about him, not just his 242 goals in seven years at Paradise but his presence. Larsson had something magical about him, even a warm up you would fixate on him. The fact that he is left such a lasting impression on Robertson is no surprise at all.

The Liverpool left-back won the Champions League only last season and his team are sitting pretty in the EPL table. They square off against their main rivals Man City the weekend.
