One of the big reasons many people believe Celtic haven’t announced Eddie Howe as manager is because he’s been talking to several clubs and fielding his options.
Crystal Palace has been one of the clubs heavily mentioned with Howe in recent times.
Lots of ignorant pundits down south are claiming Eddie would be better off staying in the English Premier League at all costs.
However, it appears either Howe has said no thanks or they are simply looking at other targets.
In the know Transfer man Duncan Castles has reported this morning that Palace are sounding out former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard to be their next manager.

If Lampard is the man they want to take over from Hodgson then it’s great news for Celtic.
There has been talk of Eddie Howe not making his mind up quick enough over Celtic but the move has to be absolutely right for the manager and the club.
Given the size of the rebuild, it’s not just salary that needs to be negotiated but budgets, structure and the best way forward.
There has been very little noise about Celtic looking at anyone else as manager at this point. Given season ticket renewals look to be delayed, it could run a bit longer than we all thought.
