SPFL clubs are reportedly set to meet tomorrow to discuss possible league reconstruction.

As reported by STV journalist Raman Bhardwaj, the proposals – if backed would also see the introduction of the two Glasgow Colt sides to League 2 the season after next.

The Colt’s conversation has been talked about for several years now, and this year there was some movement on that front with the Hoops youngsters set to play their football in the Lowland League next season.

Now though, there will be fresh talks about the two sides being brought up a division into League 2.

Although it has been said that this season, having the Colt sides in the fifth level of Scottish Football was only on a one-season basis, many had suspicions that it might have been a test to see its success.

It remains to be seen how it will go, with the season set to begin on the 17th of July as Celtic kick-off away to Bonnyrigg Rose.

However, it appears steps are already being put in place that would see the Hoops youngsters enter the League system at a higher level.
