MANCHESTER UTD legend Rio Ferdinand was in the Celtic end at Hampden on Sunday to watch the bhoys win their tenth consecutive trophy in a row.

The bhoys did not play well at all and the only person with pass marks is the man who single-handedly stopped The Rangers from scoring – Fraser Forster.

Rio is obviously friends with Steven Gerrard and Jermain Defoe from their England days but the big man has always had a soft spot for Celtic and it was no wonder he was sitting among our support.

With ten minutes to go, the player praised the atmosphere.

As we said, Celtic weren’t at their best but they got the job done. Every Celtic fan wanted to see the bhoys win at all costs against their Glasgow rivals and some times those wins don’t come pretty.

Fraser Forster’s legendary performance on the day will go down in Celtic folklore.
