Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley proved tonight that when he is at his best, he is simply unstoppable for opposition sides.

O’Riley, who in recent weeks has not been at his best, put in arguably his best performance in a Celtic shirt.

With two assists and a goal this evening, Dundee defenders were left chasing his shadow all night.

The Danish midfielder, who rightly has been praised for his goal-scoring ability this season, also possesses an incredible skill set, from his passing to his hardworking nature.

O’Riley was previously linked with a move to Atletico Madrid in January, but he is clearly focused on contributing to the cause for Celtic.

His experience of winning titles in just over two years at the club is likely to prove vital in the coming months.

Despite only being 23 years old, the Celtic playmaker has a calmness and composure on the ball years beyond his age.

His final ball for teammates is often perfectly measured, and tonight was an example of the threat he possesses when he links up well with teammates.

Alistair Johnston and Yang Hyun-jun also appeared to link up incredibly well down the right-hand side.

With O’Riley often moving into wide areas on the right, the Celtic trio are beginning to form a triangle of chaos for opposition defences.

Yang does also appear to be the winger on the right who gets the best out of Johnston and O’Riley, but also Adam Idah, who himself was clinical in scoring the Bhoys’ second goal tonight.
