This would mean that Robertson, an academy graduate of Celtic, would reunite with his former club captain and Hoops legend Scott Brown.
Robertson has been striving to become part of the first team for Celtic for the past few years, after his debut under Neil Lennon.
This season, he has featured in several training sessions under Ange Postecoglou and was even named on the bench for both UEFA Champions League group stage matches against RB Leipzig.
Despite his promising debut performance in the 2019/20 season against Cluj, Robertson has not been able to build upon it, and with his contract at Celtic Park coming to an end in the summer, there is speculation that he may depart before then.
At a recent press conference CeltsAreHere.com tended, Ange didn’t seem best pleased with Scott’s decision to talk to the media about a move away while still being under contract at the club. The manager did concede it was time for Scott to go get game time elsewhere.
