Popular Twitter account ‘Scouts in attendance’ revealed Celtic scouts were in attendance at Ligue 1 game at the weekend between Dijon and Metz.
The two teams fought it out to a 2-2 draw but it’s unclear who exactly Celtic were casting their eye over while in France.
It’s no doubt a market Celtic want to continue to look towards. Odsonne Edouard and Christopher Jullien have both come over from the French league to play starring roles in the first team.
Both players got the goals in Celtic’s win over Aberdeen at the weekend.
Nicky Hammond has been restructuring and revitalising Celtic’s recruitment policy since the summer and they are casting their net far and wide to try and find some diamonds in the rough.
#celticfc scout watched Dijon 2-2 Metz on Saturday, Thierry Ambrose (was linked in 2018, friend of Olivier Ntcham) came on as 2H sub..but may not have been there for him https://t.co/sO5u6Fk010

Celtic are looking to bring two or three players in during the January window if they can find the right type of quality. So far Celtic have been relentless this season – both domestically and in Europe – the squad doesn’t need wholesale changes but planning for the next six months and beyond is essential.
