NEIL LENNON is a target for Cyrpeiot champions Omonia, according to SunSport.

The former Celtic manager has been without a job for over a year now. Having been linked to many jobs, north and south of the border and overseas, he is yet to find a club willing to take him on. Although, the latest reports suggest his future could lie in Cyprus.

Henning Berg, the former Ibrox man, was sacked after his side struggled this season, leading the team to glory last season.

Omonia sits seventh in the table. It’s clear to see why they parted ways with their manager. The side are looking to climb the table next season, with the league near completion. Cypriot reports claim that the Northern Irish manager is featured heavily in their shortlist.

Neil Lennon will always split opinion in the Celtic support after last season’s catastrophe, and his attitude certainly never helped the manager’s cause.

Lennon is desperate for another job and has made it clear he is willing to try a new adventure, overseas or in the UK.
