Celtic boss Neil Lennon has admitted that the league title ‘may be beyond’ his Hoops side as they find themselves 21 points behind in the title race.

As reported by Clyde 1 reporter Andrew MacLean, Lennon made this admission during his controversial press conference today which has seen heavy criticism from people all across Scottish football.

Many Celtic fans, as well as Lennon, has admitted that the season is all but over with pretty much only the Scottish Cup to play for, which is a dreadful thought in the middle of January.

As mentioned there has been several clips and quotes from today’s press conference which seem to have pushed things to boiling point for Neil Lennon.

It is a terrible situation we find ourselves in and when you think it’s just about to start going away, you receive even more news such as another positive test, which was revealed this morning.

Right now, it’s a concerning time at the club and the need for change is there more than ever after the events in the last few months.

  1. If Neil convinces the Hoops to win every game until the death, the points lost will be less, and Celtic could retain the Scottish cup. Unless sevco can make the final of the Lotus europa cup. Or go bust again. The twentyone point deficit means nothing until the end of season chimps tea party at the death star. Where it should be much less.
