Celtic have put a winning run together this month. The performances might not always be there but the team is grinding out results.
It’s been a bizarre season where not even the most imaginative of writers could have called what’s gone on at Celtic.
The Bhoys are fifteen points behind their title rivals and are all but mathematically out of the title race.
A lot of fans have called for the manager’s head since September of last year. Some wanted Neil Lennon out before this season went totally off the rails but others have slowly come to the conclusion that the Celtic manager has to go.
The bizarre nature of this season has meant Celtic fans were protesting days and weeks before and after a quadruple treble had been secured. As we head into the final ten days of February, there’s now a very real possibility Neil Lennon will pick up the manager of the month while fans still push for his removal.
Celtic are the in-form side in the league and if they can win against Ross County and Aberdeen before the end of the month, Neil Lennon will more than likely win the award. Should this happen, it will provide another bizarre contradiction to the season.
All Celtic fans want to see the Hoops finish strong and will be hoping the bhoys can keep the winning run going.
