Neil Lennon has commented on Celtic being handed a rather odd time for their semi-final tie against Hibs next week with the Celtic manager admitting it will take some adjusting to get prepared for the tie.

Traditionally the game would either be an early kick-off or 3pm at Hampden but BT Sports have pencilled the game in for 5:30pm Saturday November 2.

Speaking ahead of their tie with Hibs on Saturday the Irishman is sure it will be fine but it is awkward for his side.

“It’s a bit of an awkward time for a kick-off but it will take a little bit of adjustment, that’s all. A different routine pre-match but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it and we’ll be prepared.” Lennon told CelticTV.

Celtic were also handed the short straw last season at the same round of the competition when they had to play at Murrayfield.

Hopefully it doesn’t effect their build up too much and the result will be the same as all our other recent trips to the national stadium.

Celtic take on Hibs at Easter Road this weekend and it will be a good opportunity to try and stamp our authority on the fixture before November rolls around.
