Neil Lennon has broke his silence on Scott Sinclair and told the Englishman he still has a future at the club after he was brought in from the cold against Partick Thistle.

Just hours before kick-off we speculated if Scott Sinclair didn’t make the match day squad against Partick Thistle then his Celtic career looked dead in the water. However, when the team was announced the winger made the bench much to our delight.

Not only did he make the squad but Neil Lennon gave Sinclair game time in the second half with the frustrated footballer scoring soon after. Scotty’s celebration spoke volumes about how the player was feeling. The winger celebrating like he’d just scored a last minute winner.

It’s great to see Scotty is still fighting to be part of this team and according to Neil Lennon there will be more game time for the player going forward.

“Scott Sinclair is still very much part of the squad. We have seen a good reaction from him. He isn’t a sulker and his body language in training is improving all the time.” Lennon told CelticTV.

“He came on and made a difference and scored and looked strong.”

Celtic flattened Partick Thistle 5-0 on the night with goals from Bayo, Ntcham, Sinclair and Rogic.
