NEIL LENNON hasn’t promised any January additions and it might be wise after so many times he thought Celtic were close to deals only for them to disappear. The summer window was a success in hindsight but things didn’t come together properly until the end of the window.

Before that there was a lot of unrest in the support.

As January comes ever closer, the talk of potential new players coming in is going to be inevitable but Neil Lennon isn’t giving anything away. The Irishman speaks of a squad unity and how things are going well with the group he has.

“At the minute, we’re in a good place with the form, consistency, and level of performance. It’s not just about going deep into the Europa League, it’s about winning the league and the domestic competitions we’re in.” Lennon told the Celtic View.

“If we can find that player to strengthen what we do within the budget then we’ll endeavour to do that.”

There’s no way Neil Lennon would want to leave the January window not freshening up the squad at all but he must keep the balance right.

There might be some movement out the way which could free up some space in the squad to facilitate some incomings.

How many players will want to leave in January though?
