There is only one man who should be starting up front for Celtic on Sunday and that is our record signing Odsonne Edouard.

With the player back to full fitness and able to go again, the striker gives Celtic a different dimension but most importantly he is a big game player who can come up big with a goal when you need one.

It has been Edouard’s goals in the last month which has put the club in the position it’s in currently. Late strikes against Hearts and Dundee have made sure of a ten point gap going into Sunday.

The French frontman has also shown he can get among the goals in this fixture; Edouard’s Ibrox goal a particular highlight but it was also the striker who got the party started last season with a double against The Rangers in a game where the bhoys would wrap up the league.

With Oliver Burke a viable option and something the interim boss has gone with already, there’s a chance he goes for pace instead of precision.

It would be foolish for Neil Lennon to start with Burke up front when Edouard is fit – it’s as simple as that.
