Arsenal have had a new bid thrown out by Celtic for Kieran Tierney and if reports from Football Scotland are to be believed, the London club have insulted the Scottish Champions by only upping their original offer by £2.5m taking the bid to £17.5 plus addons.

If this is the case then Celtic should point blank refuse to talk to Arsenal until they meet the player’s valuation.

Neil Lennon confirmed this week the London club are interested and more importantly they know exactly how much Celtic want for the player. Despite that knowledge they have decided to low ball Celtic for a second time.

If we didn’t know any better I would think Peter Lawwell works for Arsenal as well.

Kieran Tierney is Celtic’s star player and won’t be leaving for a derisory bid this summer. The defender is a Celtic fan and on a long term deal.

If Arsenal want him, it’s simple, pay the price.

  1. Unless KT wants to leave (specifically to Arsenal) he should tell Lawwell he should wait for other offers. But i guess now it’s about balancing the books on what we spend this summer. Sell for 25, spend 15, bank 10. That gives PW around a million bonus.
