We still don’t have a permanent manager but when we do finally get him in place, there is good news already on the horizon.

In the final game of 2020, Christopher Jullien’s season was ended when he collided with the post against Dundee Utd as he ran back to knock the ball off the line.

The player was told in January he would be out for nine months or so. Leaving the Hoops short since January and well into next season.

Sunsport are exclusively reporting the defender is ahead of schedule and could be ready to go for a new manager as early as August!

The Frenchman has been regularly posting videos of his recovery and he’s clearly going above and beyond to get back fit as soon as possible.

Celtic will need to bring in some defenders this summer but Christopher Jullien could be the rock and part of a new spine for the team.

He won’t make early Euro qualifiers, but the Frenchman could play his part in the new season pretty quickly if he gets up to speed.
