NICKY HAMMOND has today left Celtic FC with immediate effect.
Hammond was brought in with Neil Lennon to oversee scouting and many other facets of the club but like Neil Lennon Hammond’s time has come to an end.
This won’t be a surprise to anyone who has kept up to date with what Celtic are planning to do in the coming weeks and months.
An entire restructuring of the club is underway with new men coming in to oversee the changes needed for the club to move forward.
Sadly, Hammond couldn’t help deliver the sort of success and player turnover we would have hoped for.
Head of Football Operations, Nick Hammond, has resigned from his position at the Club to pursue new opportunities.

With the Operations manager gone now, it’s only a matter of time before a new man is announced in a similar role.
Fergal Harkin of Manchester City has been touted as the next man to come in and spearhead a team of analysts to usher in a new era for the club.
