On-loan Celtic midfielder Oliver Ntcham looks to be set for a Parkhead return in the summer as his loan in France with Marseille goes from bad to worse.

According to reports in France from La Provence, Marseille will supposedly opt against their option to buy on the French midfielder and instead target Toulouse’s Amine Adli.

Ntcham completed his loan move to the Ligue 1 side on the final day of the transfer window with an option to buy of around £4.5 million also being inserted in the deal.

It has been a poor start for the 25-year old who has made just five appearances so far since joining. Three of which have been from the start of the game with each of those resulting in Ntcham being subbed off at half-time.

At this stage, who knows what the future holds for Ntcham as he prepares to enter the final year of his deal this summer. With a new incoming manager likely to join the club at some point in the near future, they will have the chance to have a look and access the midfielder who may need to begin a whole new fresh start in Glasgow or be moved on elsewhere.
