This week, Holm became the first signing under Brendan Rodgers’ much-anticipated second tenure at the club, marking a new era for the Hoops.

On Thursday, Odin Thiago Holm committed his future to Celtic with a five-year deal at the club.

In an interview back in his homeland, Holm expressed his excitement about his transition to Scottish football. Speaking to Valerenga’s official website, he said: [SunSport]

“Celtic is a massive club, perhaps bigger than many realise.

“I am looking forward to playing in front of 60-65,000 fans on a weekly basis, the derby against Rangers and not least the Champions League in the autumn.”

With Rodgers back at the helm and Holm’s arrival, Celtic fans have every reason to be optimistic about the upcoming season. The manager is keen to continue delivering success to the club in Scotland and dreams of making an impact in Europe.

The Glasgow Derby and the Champions League nights at Celtic Park are thrilling and are an extra selling point for Celtic.
