Celtic midfielder, Oliver Ntcham is a player who has had his ups and downs during his time here in Glasgow.

In spells we have seen exactly what he is capable of on his day, showing true quality on the ball and dictating the midfield on the biggest occasion against Rangers.

Throughout his time here though, there has always been that transfer speculation languishing over his head. Whether it be Porto or countless French clubs, during most transfer windows there has been some talk about the talented Frenchman leaving.

Recently, Ntcham has been missing from the side in the last couple of weeks through injury, which has allowed players such as Ismaila Soro and David Turnbull to break through and show their worth in the team.

It seems almost inevitable now that we will, unfortunately, see Ntcham exit at some point in the near future, which could come in January.

To add things to the matter, it is highly likely that his value has decreased with what has been a poor season so far for the hoops and him coming into the final 18 months of his contract.

My personal thoughts on Ntcham as a player are, that he is a top player who at times may have not been utilised well enough within the side. We have seen those flashes across many different spells but sadly not enough overall.

It would be sad to see him go without fully fulfilling his potential here as he certainly has that and could, given the full chance to do so but it is looking increasingly likely his time here could come to an end soon.
