There have been online rumours of contract talks taking place which would make Eddy one of the highest paid players at the club but nothing has been substantiated to this point.
Football Insider have been notorious for offering Celtic ‘Exclusives’ over the past 12 months – not many of them coming to anything and today their ‘Celtic sources’ have decided to talk.
They claim the club will sell the Eddy if no new deal is reached but there is negotiations. Their story couldn’t be more vague and predictable if it tried. We report on gossip, news and rumours to keep the fans informed about what’s going on but we also feel a duty to rubbish claims when stuff like this pops up.
Selling Eddy at the end of the season would certainly be more likely if no new deal is signed but right now there’s absolutely nothing in anything they have wrote.
