There are many Celtic fans who refuse to change their opinion on certain players once they’ve formed their initial assessment.
One man who hasn’t got the confidence of the majority of support is Albian Ajeti.
The Swiss striker came in last season and after his initial good start got caught up in the mire and Neil Lennon’s tinkering. An injury took him out of the team after scoring 5 goals in 6 and after that, he looked unsure and lacked confidence.
A lot of fans will argue the counterpoint but I believe there’s a player in Albian bursting to get out.
He’s a guy who could get 20 plus goals in the SPFL if the team plays to his strengths. The striker has the ability to bring others into play and when he gets service in the box, he’ll score more often than not.
Some Celtic fans must change their outlook and perspective on what went on last season. Even some of our best players failed to make the grade. Albian came into Celtic during a pandemic, after not playing for a year in London and he gets caught up in Neil Lennon’s implosion as Celtic manager.
It’s time for a reset and a fresh look at some players who didn’t look too clever last season.
