We were all waiting on the statement and they’ve not disappointed. Tonight we get the petulant aftermath from The Rangers on the SPFL proposal going through.

They wanted clubs to get their money, they wanted Scottish football to pull together — this is now what’s happening but they’re not satisfied?

One has to wonder why.

A club using a global pandemic to try and deny a title to their bitter rivals is very much all that’s on the table here.

They are threatening legal action but for who and what? Clubs who have been relegated as a result of the proposal will not be taking legal action — The Rangers will be getting their well deserved second-placed bounty — where is the damages?

What we have here is more grandstanding, playing to the galleries. They can’t be seen to roll over and allow Celtic to be crowned champions although their team already effectively did this.

Legal action would be amusing. They’ve hyped up the unhinges in their support to make-believe an injustice has taken place. That should stand them in good stead when they need their season ticket money.

I love the symbolism of so many of these bears who supported Brexit now not respecting the will of the people when it comes to the SPFL vote.

Victim FC.

  1. Rangers boards way of thinking, shake the tree you might then get apples, but should they get fruit they will not be able to eat it. if no football is played for 6 month’s they would have to return it to there fans that’s the law

  2. O dear o dear here we go again everyone hates us and it’s not fair ffs grow a par except ur team are second rate to the famous Glasgow CELTIC and live within your means

  3. As you say its all pandering to the gallery and there are no thicker or more gullible fans in the world than Sevco-The new STs will sell like hotcakes

Their manager & players abject surrender on the park is quickly airbrushed from history as they convince themselves they were cheated!! Didnt want to win 9IAR this way but actually their laughable and predictible reaction makes it so sweet!

  4. The tribute club/company are no strangers to court proceedings, but in this case, they are simply pandering to the gullibillies. I believe that it is in the rules, that clubs cannot take legal action against their own ruling bodies. The SPFL & the SFA should each grow a pair and threaten the withholding of league position funds, jelly & ice cream time coming to a (virtual) party near you.
