Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley spoke to the media at Lennoxtown on Monday afternoon. CeltsAreHere were in attendance to get the thoughts of the treble-winner.
O’Riley spoke about a wide range of matters but notably, he revealed what has helped him score goals like the one he did over the weekend. He said: “My first thought was when it went in, and it sounds weird, but it was how stable I felt in my body.
“That is a result of how much Pilates I have been doing outside the club as well. So, it is nice to see these things coming together.”
O’Riley is a man who lives and breathes football. He takes utmost care of himself off the pitch and it will be encouraging for him to see the work he does outside of Celtic benefit him. This mentality of constantly wanting to improve not just his game but himself as a person will see O’Riley get to the very top of the game.
