Out-going Hibernian chief executive, Leeann Dempster has said she has been left ‘fizzing’ on social media after the SPFL moved the Edinburgh side’s fixture in Glasgow on Saturday the 9th of January to Monday the 11th of January.

As reported by Edinburgh News, Dempster who announced last week she would be departing Hibs, took to social media to criticise the SPFL for moving the fixture without consulting either herself, sporting director Graeme Mathie or Hibernian chairman Ronald Gordon.

It has since been revealed that the reason this was approved by the SPFL was because the Scottish Champions requested for this rescheduling due to them applying for it on the grounds of player welfare with a busy schedule coming up in the month of December.

The last time both sides met at Celtic Park was actually the last home victory that the Bhoys have had which dates all the way back to September.

Despite the complaints of those involved at Hibs, it appears that Celtic are well within their rights on this occasion.
