Celtic’s fixture against Hibernian on Saturday the 9th to January has been switched to Monday the 11th.

As confirmed by the SPFL official Twitter account due to a ‘club request’. It is unclear which club it was at this stage. The game that was set to kick-off at 3 pm will now take place at 7:45 pm on a Monday.

I’m sure for most fans this will be a very strange one, seeing Celtic play on a Monday evening at Celtic Park.

Our most recent game against Hibs took place just a few weeks ago, in a 2-2 draw which saw Neil Lennon’s side fight back from two goals on.

By the time we get to that fixture who knows where we will be, as we are currently 11 points behind in the league.

December will be a key period, going into even more crucial fixtures in January. At this stage, we need to go on a run and be almost faultless until then. It certainly should be interesting to see where we are by then.
