Another game and another goal from Adam Idah at the weekend against St Mirren. The Irishman has come off the bench at both Ibrox and Celtic Park and has got on the scoresheet.

The Norwich loanee has scored seven goals and landed two assists in ten SPFL games since coming in at the end of January.

With five games to go, the title is still very much up for grabs, and that will be the focus of Celtic and Idah.

However, many on social media has been clamouring for Celtic to look at a permanent deal for the big frontman.

Prices of £3m or £4m have been bandied about, however, CeltsAreHere understands that if Celtic were to look for a permanent deal in the summer they would be looking at a price tag NORTH of £6m.

Our information suggests that Norwich know they have a talent in Adam, and it’s why they didn’t allow a pre agreed option to buy with Celtic back in January. Even if Celtic wanted one, time was not on their side.

Given Adam has done well so far in the Green and white, Norwich know the ball is in their court and if Celtic want to have a conversation then it’s going to take a decent fee by Scottish football standards to land the big man.

Brendan Rodgers has been coy on Adam coming in on a permanent deal, telling CeltsAreHere at a recent press conference that it’s something they’ll take a view on at the end of the season.

If he comes in, helps win the title and leaves, the deal could only be categorised as a success. The next five games will deliver the destination of the SPFL title and we hope Adam gets his hands on it.
