CELTIC will take on their Glasgow rivals Next weekend and before that they need to make sure they do the business against Dundee Utd.

It’s a pivotal tie where the bhoys must win to begin putting pressure on the league leaders.

They have had a top start to the season where they’re rear guard action has won them plenty of points. They’ve build a solid base to try and win but we saw in the St Mirren’s game they can be got at.

Two players who are major doubts to play Celtic are Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield, both are struggling and it will be touch and go whether they play next weekend. Two players who have been important in their success so far this season.

Speaking about Arfield the Rangers boss told Glasgow Times: “I’m worried about it because Scott doesn’t come off the pitch in normal circumstances. He doesn’t normally ask for a physio to come on, he’s one who will just normally get up and go.

“He’s a brave kid so I’m concerned about it. We’ll assess it.

“He’s got ice on the ankle area but until it actually gets scanned and assessed properly I’ve got nothing for you unfortunately.”

For Celtic, they have Mikey Johnston ready to go if needed and are enjoying the fruits of a partnership between Edouard and Griffiths which paid off last season in a big way.
