It feels as though everything at Celtic has been a whirlwind since the treble was won.

Indeed Ange Postecoglou’s departure seems like it was a long while ago yet it only happened over the past fortnight.

Nevertheless, this has not prevented numerous names from discussing it, the latest being Ramon Vega.

The defender turned out for both Tottenham and Celtic in his playing career and thus has vast knowledge on both clubs.

And regarding a comparison between the Hoops and the Premier League outfit, he told the Daily Mail Celtic are a much bigger team. Vega said:

“If you compare both clubs, Celtic is a much bigger club by a considerable distance.

“They have a massive fan base and they are so faithful.

“The demands of playing for Celtic and managing Celtic are huge on a daily basis.”

What Vega is saying is not uncommon knowledge.

Everyone knows that as a club, Celtic is seismic in comparison to Spurs.

Nevertheless, the allure of the English Premier League was, in the end, too much for Postecoglou to resist.

Despite his departure, the Bhoys appear to be in a position that is not as detrimental as first feared they would be when the Australian’s departure was announced.

Brendan Rodgers is now in charge in Glasgow’s east end and he will be aiming to wield yet more success at a club he truly shone at in previous years.
