Let’s be honest, nobody that saw that clash of heads today thought Ryan Christie was going to come out of it unscathed. The player looked knocked out before he even hit the ground.

The good news is that Ryan was conscious at half-time but the injury will be bad news for the attacker having just returned to the side.

While it’s bad news from a football perspective fans and Ryan’s family will be relieved to know the youngster at least regained consciousness.

His dad, Charlie Christie was visibly upset on TV and could be seen leaving his seat to rush down for news of his son’s injuries. We hope Ryan has a speedy recovery and that there are no long-lasting effects of the tackle from Dominic Ball.

Celtic went onto win the game in style with James Forrest, Tom Rogic and Edouard goals, they will now face Hearts on the 25th of May in the final. That’s the date Celtic could win a treble treble.
