The SFA have confirmed who will take charge of this weekend’s match between Celtic and St. Mirren in the Scottish Premiership at Parkhead.

The Buddies secured their place in the top six last weekend despite a 2-1 home defeat to Hearts meanwhile the Hoops kept their title destiny within their hands after an enthralling six-goal thriller at Ibrox.

Both sides will want to get back to winning ways this weekend for a game that Steven McLean will take charge of.

Referee
3rd February 2024; Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen, Scotland; Scottish Premiership Football, Aberdeen versus Celtic; Referee Steven McLean
Calum Spence and John McCrossan will run the lines with Peter Stuart taking up fourth official duties. On VAR is David Dickinson, assisted by Gary Hilland.
After writing to the SFA about John Beaton not being shown the correct footage of Fabio Silva’s dive and a penalty being given despite Alistair Johnston making a tackle that won the ball and didn’t show careless, reckless, or excessive force, Celtic will hope the right calls are made this weekend.
When they kick off against St. Mirren on Saturday, the Hoops will know that regardless of Rangers’ result against Dundee on Wednesday, a win will take them top of the table for the evening. It is well and truly crunch time in the Scottish Premiership.
