Celtic released Brody Patterson at the end of last season after he spent last term on loan with Airdrieonians, having previously spent time with Queens Park, winning the league with the side in the Scottish League 2.
After his Celtic release, the full-back has found a new club in England’s fourth division.
Brody Patterson has signed a two-year deal with Hartlepool in League 2. The side is headed by Paul Hartley who came up against the player while he managed Cove Rangers.

His versatility will come in handy for the side, able to play in most positions on the left of the pitch.
Celtic Are Trimming the Squad
It’s a shame to see a player who rose through Celtic’s academy leave the club without making an impact on the first team. However, Celtic can’t afford to hold on to the player who won’t be good enough.
Aged 21, a breakthrough with the Hoops was unlikely, and it was best for the player’s career that he left the Scottish champions and tried to start a career elsewhere.
