The rumours about Celtic in transfer talks with Brandon Soppy has taken on a life of its own over the past few days.
We reported Fabrizio Romano stated the two clubs were in talks over a move for the French right back.
The defender then posted an image of boxes next to his locker in the Rennes changing room – we were told by some French football fans that the lad is known for wind ups.
Celtic fans have been waiting for tangible news about the defender possibly coming to Glasgow, however, this evening GFFN is reporting there’s been a mix up with what right back Celtic are in for Sacha Boey.
Sacha is 20-years-old and spent last season out on loan to Dijon. He started out in the Rennes academy but his future is unclear.
