According to freelance sports journalist Pete O’Rourke, Celtic are in talks to bring in another free agent this summer.

The journalist revealed the Hoops are in talks with former West Brom winger Kyle Edwards after his contract expired at the Hawthorns.

Edwards, 23, is without a club at this moment in time and weighing up his next move in the game.

The player can play on both the left and right wing but plays predominantly on the left.

Celtic are on the lookout for a new left sided player after Moi Elyounoussi left the club after a two-year loan stint. The club’s only real option down the left wing right now is Mikey Johnston and while the winger can be a good option, keeping Mikey fit has always been a major issue.

Celtic are in need of some positive reinforcements as soon as possible.

Edwards had been at West Brom since moving from Exeter City back in 2018. The player has been in and out of the starting XI.

The club need to find the very best players available to them, right now we’re hearing a lot of rumours and reports surrounding free agents and we’ve brought two players in from Sheffield Wednesday as free agents.

While these players might come good, we need first team ready, experienced players to come in.
