Reports on Wednesday claim Celtic are back on the trail of Tottenham Left-back Ryan Sessegnon.
Record Sport report the £25m defender who is not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for the rest of this season could be allowed out on loan.
Celtic have been in the hunt for a left back to replace Boli Bolingoli and also to play at wing back.
There are quite a few clubs in the hunt for the former Fulham defender but Celtic are pushing for a deal.
The same report outlines Alfie Doughty and Casper Hojer are two alternatives should Celtic be unsuccessful.
Our view
Signing Ryan for the rest of the season would be a fantastic piece of business. He has been unlucky at Spurs but would add energy to the left hand side of Celtic’s starting XI.
It still seems like a long shot to land the youngster but you never know.
