Reports in Belgium over the past 24 hours have claimed Jack Hendry’s move to Oostende is all but done.
Nieuwsblad have claimed Oostende have offered him a top multi-year deal to stay at the club for now and Jack is happy with the terms.
We’d imagine this deal could be done remotely because Jack is with the Scotland squad and Oostende know his fitness and could forgo the usual medical until he returns to Belgium.
The defender has reinvented himself at Oostende and will have some sort of loyalty to the club who gave him a chance.
Celtic allowed a first option on the defender which the report claims is around €1.5 million.
Some fans wanted to see Jack get a second chance at Celtic after his exploits in Belgium but any chance of that happening went out the window with Celtic’s absolute amateurish search for a new manager.
