There will be many Lennoxtown returns in the coming days and weeks. As the Celtic players begin to regroup under a new manager, everyone will be looking to start with a clean slate.
One man who will be hoping that is the case is Vakoun Bayo. RecordSport report there will be no deal between Celtic and Toulouse meaning the striker will head back to Glasgow to try and force his way into Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
There are quite a few players who have been wrote off over the last two years who many now get a second look — maybe out of necessity.
Bayo has been injured a lot during his Celtic career but he’s never been fancied as Celtic’s number one striker. While Edouard has been at the club, the Frenchman has that position sewn up.
Eddie is expected to leave and Leigh Griffiths future is still up in the air, our two strikers going into the first qualifier could be Bayo and Ajeti.
And why not give Vakoun Bayo the chance he never got…
