Celtic are undefeated in the SPFL this season and are hoping to keep it that way at the Tony Macaroni stadium this afternoon.

The bhoys are coming off the back of a defeat in the Champions League to Feyenoord where they finished with just nine men on the pitch. If you could pick a fixture to avoid coming off a tough European experience, Livi away would be right up there!

The defensive dark arts employed by David Martindale’s side along with the horrible plastic pitch which is not fit for the top flight of any league are the challenges Celtic must overcome.

With some key injuries to the likes of CCV and Liel Abada, Brendan Rodgers has not been able to put out his best XI since returning to the Hoops. Today, he will task these bhoys with going out and grinding out the result.

The Irishman has thrown out a major curveball by handing James Forrest his first start of the season, leaving Luis Palma on the bench. It’s a big call from the manager and not exactly a vote of confidence to the Honduran.

James comes in and hopes to impress.
