Stuart Armstrong has tested positive for COVID-19 and has now been dropped from the Scotland squad ahead of their vital game against Israel.
However, as a result, Ryan Christie is now out of the Scotland squad and must now isolate for 14 days with the player coming into close contact with Stuart.
Kieran Tierney and Ryan Christie – along with one physiotherapist and one masseur – will also require to self-isolate for 14 days.

This is becoming more and more problematic for Celtic who will 100% be without Ryan for the Glasgow Derby and Edouard a major doubt after a positive test.
Celtic are holding their breast that there are no more positive tests among their players before the game. Let it be clear, Ryan has not tested positive but because he has been in contact with someone who has been confirmed as positive, he must isolate for the full 14 days which will take us well past the Glasgow Derby. Hopefully he doesn’t contract the virus and his isolation is just a precaution. Very difficult timing.
