Johnny Hayes is to lose his place for the returning Emilio Izaguirre. Hayes had one of his best games in a Hoops jersey since the Dubliner signed for the Celts but we understand Rodgers will bring back in his more natural left-back.
We asked fans on our social network if they would stick with Hayes for tonight’s game and Izzy just got the nod ahead of Hayes, so fans won’t be too disappointed with the change. Kieran Tierney is, of course, Celtic’s no.1 left-back and he is made for nights like tonight. The Scotland international has been out of action since November, hopefully, Izzaguire can put in the shift that Hayes did the weekend.
