Reports this evening suggest Neil Lennon will now HAVE to go into the market for a goalkeeper – even just a backup because Scott Bain has suffered an injury which will keep him out for up to 2 months.
According to SunSport, the goalkeeper has injured his hand and will not play any part in the game against Dunfermline at the weekend.
This will be horrible news for Scott who didn’t cover himself in glory for Cluj’s third goal on Tuesday. The goalkeeper would have wanted to get straight back at it against Dunfermline.
There was a chance Neil Lennon would’ve dropped the Celtic star for the weekend anyway but now it appears as Gordon will be between the sticks for sure.
Gordon has had his own injury problems and Neil Lennon will know if he goes down too Celtic would be in trouble.
