CELTIC DEFENDER Osaze Urhoghide is the subject of ongoing talks between Celtic and Verona and KV Oostende about a potential loan deal. [Scotsman]

Celtic are keen to ship the defender out on loan for the remainder of the season, with a move to Dundee said to be close to completion before talks between the defender and the club stalled.

The 20-year-old has played just once this season and is far down Postecoglou’s pecking order. However, it is clear that the Dutchman has potential and a loan deal could enable him to reach this.

There has been no decision on which club Urhoghide will spend the remainder of the season with, but the Italian and Belgian clubs are currently in pole position.

There are likely to be many outgoings in the final week of the window with Postecoglou keen to trim his squad and finding players, whose futures do not lie at Celtic, a new club.
